Audio Post-Production Workflow

This will be a 3 hour, single evening class that will provide a high level overview of how teacher/Scary Cow member extraordinaire, Michael Schrecker goes through the post-audio process on Scary Cow films.

We'll cover the following topics:

What's the process all about?
Post-Production Environment
Acquisition and Import
Project Setup
DAW Basics
Audio Editing
Repairs and Replacements
Mixing
Mastering and output

The goal of the class is to enable you as a filmmaker, to understand, contribute to, and if need be, complete the basic post-audio tasks.

This class assumes that you have some knowledge of the video / film editing process, as post-audio builds on the work of the editor.

Bringing your own laptop and audio/video editing program may be useful but not required.

Space is extremely limited to just 8 spots. This class will likely not be offered again until next round.
