Sound ExChange + TIGUE
Featured by the Rochester Business Journal as a group that "turns the classical music concert on its head," the Sound ExChange Project (SEP) presents a sextet comprised of strings, percussion, and electronics in collaboration with TIGUE, a percussion trio acclaimed as "one of the premier young percussion-based groups in Brooklyn right now" (Dayton City Paper). The program is a selection of original music by group members and a piece by Grammy-nominated composer Anna Clyne. Inspired by the fascination found in the customary - the sounds of breath, nature, and the everyday - the show culminates with a collaborative piece performed by SEP and TIGUE.
