Not A Through Street: Navigating by Song
Annie Enneking (of Annie and the Bang Bang) and Rob Shapiro (of Populuxe) are songwriters and the kind of old friends that are closer to family. They first played their music for each other in a book-and-ashtray-strewn Minneapolis bedroom back in '86. The connective thread between the two is restlessness, a refusal to be pigeonholed, and a fierce determination to push forward. "Not A Through Street," their first joint performance, will chart that path.
