Barston String Quartet
Violist Mara Gearman is on the faculty at Cornish College of the Arts. Moscow-born violinist Mikhail Shmidt attended a music school there for gifted children. Cellist Walter Gray has been with SSO for almost three decades and was featured several times as a soloist. Currently the Principal Secon Violinist of SSO, Elisa Barston was featured soloist recently in its all-Mozart concerts.
