Disney's BEAUTY AND THE BEAST Music by Alan Menken Lyrics by Howard Ashman & Tim Rice
BEAUTY AND THE BEAST is a classic tale of loyalty, redemption and love. The story we know today was first published in France in the 18th century but its roots go back to the Italian Renaissance. This musical version has become a beloved classic itself for the depth of its emotional tone and the loveliness of the music. Over 75 students from the school are involved in the production which includes a double cast of principals who alternate performances. The musical is directed by Laura Ferri with Music Direction by Joseph Seserko with assistance from Dana Sewall and Oliver Wu; choreography by Sylvie Baldwin, Mary Reardon and Susan Wickett-Ford.
