BlackBoy CONSCIOUS (a stolen_african play)
A Choreopoem of Poor Poetry!
BlackBoy Conscious is a wanted Felon. A victim of stereotypes, he has committed the major offense; he challenges them. Locked away in a small room, he infiltrates a national broadcasting network to clear the labels anointed by society as a way to display the cause of his need to rebel. Before he can finish his plea for the world to help him, his secret location is raided by government officials and he is taken way never to be seen again
The play is in three acts:

BlackBOY shares his dark past of sexual abuse and his naÃÂÃ,¯ve beliefs about friendship and trust.
RED
(Representing the living color in one's life when things are complicated and passionate)
BlackBOY shares the first time falling in love, heartbreak and individualism
GREEN
(Representing the living color of one's life when things are rebellious and cathartic)
BlackBOY shares his experience of indoctrinations and the pressures of the world to choose a label
