The Gatsby Club 'Masquerade Ball' at the West End Festival
Scotland's largest 1920s themed cabaret and club night returns with The Gatsby Club 'Masquerade Ball' as part of the West End Festival. Expect an evening of mystery and intrigue with music hall variety, cabaret acts, live music and gramophone DJ.
** CABARET SHOW / LIVE BAND / 1920s NIGHTCLUB **
You will be dazzled by bright lights, lavish surroundings and a beautiful stage which plays host to our fabulous show. Settle down at one of our candle-lit tables with a bottle of champagne and prepare for the show to begin! Enjoy a line-up of music hall variety, cabaret acts, burlesque performers, dancers, comedy, singers and more. After the show get your dancing shoes on, your Charleston moves at the ready and dance along to our live band, followed by music from our resident Gramophone DJ.

Order a cocktail or a bottle of wine from the bar and soak up the sounds of the twenties. The perfect room to relax in before and after the cabaret show or just before the nightclub begins!
(Please note that due to renovations getting carried out within The Reading Room at the GU, The Drawing Room downstairs will be used for this event.)

After the cabaret show and live band The Gatsby Club's resident Disc Jockey LORD HOLYRUDE will keep toes tapping and flappers flapping into the wee small hours as he spins records from the early 20th century to modern electro-swing numbers.

Lots of delicious and tempting cupcakes will be on sale again, courtesy of Kitchen Cakes by Mrs Spence! The perfect sweet treat to boost your energy levels before dancing the night away.
** SNACK & DRINK PACKAGES **
We are excited to be introducing snack & drink packages for people who have booked tables at The Gatsby Club. Snacks range from canapes and sandwiches to kettle crisps and mixed nut selections. You will also be able to order bottles of wine, proseco and champagne in advance for your table. Some snacks will also be available to buy behind the bar on the night. Dress Code: Beautifully embellished masks, glitz and glamour, top hats and spats, flapper dresses, black or white tie, long pearl necklaces, waistcoats, elaborate jewels. Please no casual attire. We reserve the right to turn you away.
