TPR Cinema Tuesdays Series: Picnic at Hanging Rock
The 2015 TPR Cinema Tuesdays Series continues with the dramatic "Picnic at Hanging Rock."
The film tells the story of a girls' school picnic and mysterious disappearance of several students and a teacher. The community and the remaining students respond to the tragedy with frustration, and the questions far outnumber the answers.
This film will be preceded by the short film "Upon the Awful Tree", which begins at 7 p.m. A brief discussion with the short's director and composer will immediately follow, with the feature presentation beginning after the discussion.
Tickets are available for a suggested price of $10 for TPR Members and $15 for non-members. Proceeds benefit Texas Public Radio.
