About Kriss Marion:
Kriss Marion is an organic vegetable farmer, shepherdess, innkeeper, teacher, chef and all-around farm-to-fork enthusiast. She owns and runs Circle M Market Farm, a field-to-table dinner CSA operation, which is located in Lafayette County just 45 minutes southwest of Madison. The farm is home to hogs, steers, chickens, goats, ducks, cats, dogs and Jacob and Merino sheep which provide wool for sale and fiber art classes.
Kriss is a relatively recent transplant to country life, having moved from Chicago nine years ago. In her adopted village of Blanchardville, population 812, that makes her brand new in town. She says her neighbors, while they haven't always understood what she was up to on her little funny farm, watched with amusement at first, but gave advice so generously that the transition from city life to farming has been all joy.
