Calgary Men's Chorus presents "Journeys"
The Calgary Men's Chorus has accomplished a great deal in its 21 year history. We have grown and developed as an ensemble and sought to carve out our own distinct identity within Calgary's artistic community. Along the way we have collaborated and shared the stage with a number of local and international performers.
Our "Journeys" concert is both a look back as we share the stage with some of the artists who have helped to shape our identity as choral arts ensemble, and an exciting look to the future as we embark on the next chapter in our chorus' history.
Holger Mauthe has been instrumental in helping us make music with every part of our body and we are please to have him create a special new body percussion piece for our "Journeys" show. We will also be joined by Graeme Climie whose first appearance with the Calgary Men's Chorus as a boy soprano literally shattered barriers and brought an audience of over 2000 people in Miami to tears. Graeme, this time, joins us as an exceptionally talented young tenor and we are please to have him back on stage with us.
Finally we will be joined by Canadian pop artist Luba to sing some of her most popular hits together with the Calgary Men's Chorus.
Sometimes in looking back we are able to glimpse the road ahead.
Tickets will be available at the door 1 hour prior to show time.
