Silent Cal & Trim by Dennis Danziger
The first two installments of a new original play, The Richard Nixon
Sex Tapes. A full-length play composed of nine one-acts each focusing on a
presidency from JFK George W, and how their time in office impacted ordinary
Americans. Silent Cal (JFK) and Trim (Clinton).
Silent Cal The day after JFK is assassinated a 15-year old underachiever confronts
his father about the dad's unwillingness or inability to love, like or even talk
his son.
Trim President Clinton's advisor wants Air Force One to lift off,
but Bill insists they stay grounded on an LAX runway until his hairstylist
arrives. Based on a day in May 1993 when planes couldn't take off or land
because the President needed his $200 trim.
