The Firestarters at Death & Taxes: Sean Brock
The Firestarters is a pop-up dinner series ushering in the latest projects from AC Restaurants, Death & Taxes and Bridge Club. Throughout the month of April, we're inviting some of the best chefs in the South to cook with us in our new space.
Sean Brock, the James Beard Award-winning chef of Husk, McCrady's and Minero, needs no introduction. An innovative chef and an avid historian, Sean has been instrumental in resurrecting some of the South's most precious heirloom ingredients in delicious and thoughtful dishes. Additionally, he harnesses wood fire as his primary cooking technique at Husk, using smokers, barbecue pits, spits and wood fire ovens to execute his menus. For two nights only, Sean will take over the the grill at Death & Taxes.
This special dinner begins with a special champagne and cocktail reception hosted by Ashley at Bridge Club, on the 2nd and 3rd floors. Guests will enjoy a tour of the events loft, plus libations and snacks previewing the forthcoming menu. Then guests will head downstairs to Death & Taxes for a 4-course dinner prepared by Sean, with wine pairings from beverage director Matt Fern. Single tickets are available for seating at the kitchen bar only. Tickets can be purchased for 6 p.m. or 8 p.m. seatings. Tickets are inclusive of tax and gratuity. Due to the very limited capacity of these events, tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
