Dominican Feast with La Bodega at The VUDE
I LOVE La Bodega, so when I heard there was a Kickstarter to help him build his patio, I immediately asked what was the largest donation tier and donated. To celebrate, Chef Manu Alfau of La Bodega is coming to The VUDE!
Chef Manu Alfau has worked in kitchens throughout Seattle including Union, La Bete, Hitchcock, and more. La Bodega is modeled after the neighborhood bodegas in his country the Dominican Republic. The bodegas in the Dominican Republic have long been a gathering place where families join together to build memories. Since its opening, La Bodega has become a warm, festive fixture of the thriving Pioneer Square neighborhood.
Join us on Friday, April 17, when we will serve this delicious food alongside of Hand of God Wines and where the island flavors of the Dominican Republic and the Terroir of Argentina will come together!
At the dinner, Chef Manu will also be selling raffle tickets to help furnish the completed patio, and one lucky winner may win a trip for two to the Dominican Republic!
Chef Manu will break out the giant paella pan, so the menu will include generous helpings of Dominican paella, along with beef picadillo & yam, gouda empanadas, and La Bodega's signature beet salad with chayote, queso, guava, and cilantro.
We're excited that La Bodega will be able to build its outdoor patio to be available in time for the warm summer weather!

The suggested price for this dinner is $65.00 (which is inclusive of tips and taxes). This is most definitely a first-come, first served deal and will not be duplicated again. If you would like to bring friends to this event, have them become a member through the vude.com website before buying tickets.

For legal reasons, this is a "private event," not a "public event," meaning that entrance is only allowed to Club members and you can't just walk in off the street.
Please register at www.thevude.com for free membership and to get the special invite to our events. You can invite others to purchase, but they'll have to register through our website.
Our tickets are non-refundable. You may transfer tickets to friends, but no refunds will be issued.
