We are proud to inaugurate Mauckingbird Theatre Company's 4th exciting season of producing professional gay-themed theatre with a special benefit event on Friday, January 14, 2011 - The Mr. Mauckingbird Pageant.
Mauckingbird supporters will be treated to a performance of the regional premiere of Jeff Bowen and Hunter Bell's hilarious musical [title of show], enjoy complimentary cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, and delight to an after-show pageant boasting a bevy of handsome Mauckingbird actors all competing for the title of "Mr. Mauckingbird." Hosted by multiple Barrymore Award-winning actress Jennie Eisenhower and Truman Capote (embodied by Barrymore-nominated actor Chris Faith), Mr. Mauckingbird contestants include 2 of the cast members of [title of show] - Barrymore Award-winning actors Ben Dibble and Michael Philip O'Brien. A panel of "Philebrity" judges will crown the first ever "Mr. Mauckingbird" based on evening wear, swimsuit and talent competitions.
