At this lecture and hands-on cooking class you will learn how to stock your kitchen pantry in such a way that healthy, tasty home cooking becomes a cinch. Registered Dietitian Tali Sedgwick will explain how to prepare a pantry with the grains, beans, spices, and jars that will give you the tools to throw dinner together in five minutes or slowly simmer a meal for hours. Armed with Tali's tips, we will make a fast and satisfying meal together that will demonstrate that once you get your pantry in order you will be able to whip up an awesome meal without minimal planning.
