Joanne Weir is a James Beard Award winning cookbook author and host of PBS' "Joanne Weir's Cooking Class" television series. Joanne, a native of western Massachusetts, spent five years cooking with Alice Waters at Chez Panisse in Berkeley after her Master Chef Diploma. Her ultimate calling has been teaching. She travels and teaches cooking classes throughout the world and is the author of 20 cookbooks.
