Workshops with the Boss of Burlesque, Foxy Tann
Foxy Tann has been hailed as one of The Top 10 Burlesque Performers To Watch by The Huffington Post, dubbed the Boss of Burlesque and a pioneer of the neo-burlesque movement by The Star Tribune and crowned in 2006, with her trusty sidekicks The Wham Bam Thank You Ma'ams, "Best Group" and "Most Vegas" at The Burlesque Hall of Fame, which has been called the Super Bowl of Burlesque by the New York Times. The Fox has been working professionally for over 20 years in drag, burlesque, theatre and the classroom. Foxy has taught circus, burlesque, costuming and acting to hundreds of people, bringing a unique teaching style of high expectations along with a fun and supportive environment. Foxy will be teaching two classes on Saturday, April 18, 2015, at the Broadway Academy of Performing Arts.

Sometimes a girl has GOT to be fabulous! Whether it be on stage, in the boardroom, or at a podium, there are times when a woman's gotta be larger than life. The Fox is offering an exciting and fun way to get in touch with a truthful inner confidence using burlesque as a framework. You will create and use pathways and methodologies that will help you forge a more sexy and confident you in an authentic and organic way allowing you to tap into show stopping energy whenever you need it. Work with what you have and love what you work with! It's a physical class with guided discussions and critiques in a safe, supportive environment. Wear comfortable clothing and be prepared to move!

TASSEL TWIRLING (Sponsored by Foxy Tann's HardCore Pasties)
Tassel twirling is the most recognizable elements of burlesque, and Foxy Tann knows that absolutely anyone can do it! In this raucous introductory class, The Fox will teach you the basics of tassel twirling as a fun way to build a better body image for yourself and gain self confidence. There is no dance experience necessary and everyone is welcome! HardCore Pasties and The No Hassle Tassels will be available to you to borrow for the class or buy so you can take your new found skill home and impress your partner or your roommates. Wear movement clothing and know that we will be removing the top half of it in this class. You can't twirl unless you let the girls out!

You have all asked for itnow you are gonna get itit's finally time for ASSELS! You have learned to twirl with your titties, but that's just not enough is it? You've seen it on YouTube, you've seen it on-stage and now you want to do it! You want to put pasties on your bootie and shake for all you are worth! Learn the basics of assels from The Fox and take your twirling to a whole nother level! It's the most fun that you can have legally in Tennessee!
