RAVEN, Sentinel Beast, Protest, Shattered Empire, Serpent & Seraph

An old-school metal attack coming from some the finest thrash bands of the '80s back for another bite. RAVEN, originally part of the UK's New Wave of British Heavy Metal Movement (NWOBHM)and Godfathers of Thrash/Speed Metal will descend upon Las Vegas Saturday, Jan. 29 as part of a fly-in experience. Now based on the east coast and supporting a new album, Walk Through Fire, on Metal Blade Records the trio have quite the reputation for their rare and energetic stage performances - dubbed "athletic rock". Joining the group for this special night will be two of thrash metal's most prominent female-fronted bands, LA's Detente and Sacramento's Sentinel Beast. Both bands are back in business after years out of the limelight. Rounding out the night is locals Protest, winner of Vegas Rock's best local metal band, and Shattered Empire, in their final performance, as well as another Sacramento metal band fronted by a woman, Serpent & Seraph.
