Everyone is welcome The workshop is suitable for those who are new to meditation, those who have meditated previously and seek continued support, and those who wish to refresh an established practice through a complementary experience. A contemplative, non-sectarian practice rooted in ancient tradition The 3 Doors is an educational, non-sectarian organization inspired by the vision of Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche, a Tibetan Bön Buddhist meditation master. The purpose of the organization is to offer simple and powerful meditation methods of body, speech, and mind that work with the challenges of everyday life in modern society.
JUST WANT A TASTE? Join us for a guided meditation on Fri May 15 from 7-9 pm; same location, no need to register. Marcy Vaughn is known for her engaging and practice-oriented teaching style. As director of program development for The 3 Doors, she leads meditation retreats around the world, often teaching with her husband, Gabriel Rocco. Marcy has been a practitioner of Tibetan Buddhism and Bön for more than 40 years. A senior student of Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche, she is the editor of his books Tibetan Sound Healing, Awakening the Sacred Body, and Awakening the Luminous Mind. A graduate in the first class of the master's program in Contemplative Psychotherapy at Naropa University, Marcy conducts training programs in the therapeutic uses of mindfulness, imagery, and contemplative practices and is a therapist in private practice in Bryn Mawr, PA.
