ADVANCED THEATRE WORKSHOP - SUMMER 2011
This course is designed for older and more experienced creative teens. Michael Buffer (Lord of Flies, Lilith, Shrew) returns to create another artistically demanding show. With an immersion in physical story telling, students will use principals of Artaud, Lecoq, and Japanese Noh to create eleven stories taken from the Ovid's poem Metamorphoses.
Because of the ambitious nature of this project, students will be required to attend 9 afterschool rehearsal sessions on the following Thursdays prior to the summer program: Mar 24, 31; Apr 17, 14, 28; May 5, 12,19 & 26 from 5-6:30 pm.
The summer program will run weekdays July 5 through 30, 9 am - 5 pm.
