Sneak Preview Screening of Pope Dreams
The Phoenix Film Society presents an exclusive Sneak Preview of the Phoenix Film Festival.
We will be screening "Pope Dreams" with director Patrick Hogan in attendance.
Date: Tuesday, April 3rd
Screening Time: 7:00pm
Location: Harkins Scottsdale/101 Theatre
There will also be a meet the filmmaker mixer starting at 5:30pm at Abuelo's within the Scottsdale/101 Center.
Don't miss out on this exclusive event to be one of the first people to see on of the Phoenix Film Festival selections. Following the screening there will be a discussion with the film's director.

Synopsis:
Andy Venable is at a crossroads. He's a directionless, 19-year old boy who works for his hard-case dad in a warehouse during the day and plays drums in a loud in a loud heavy-metal band at night. His only clear goal at the moment is to get his sick mother, a devout Catholic, to meet the Pope before she dies. While he's busy with that, he falls for a girl who's totally out of his league and gets discovered by two Broadway producers for a musical talent that just might be his true calling. Andy's a dreamer. But dreaming is easy. It's reality that's hard.
