Still relatively unknown in the U.S., Sinne Eeg is regarded around the world as a monumental talent. Recently, Sinne received the prestigious award for "Best Vocal Jazz Album Of the Year" from the Jazz Academy in France, and Denmark's Ben Webster Prize for 2014. In 2014 Sinne also received her third Danish Music Award for "Best Jazz Vocal Album Of the Year."
In Los Angeles, she will be joined by a band of West Coast jazz titans. Larry Koonse, son of legendary guitarist Dave Koonse, is a prolific musician having played with Billy Childs, John Patitucci, and Hubert Laws, among others. Katie Thiroux and Matt Witek, recently seen at Contrapuntal playing with Larry Fuller, round out this extraordinarily talented combo.
