The First 2000 Days Network is pleased to present "Global Perspectives on ECD: Lessons from the Field on Building Effective ECD Systems" with Peter Holland, Senior Education Specialist at the World Bank. Peter's keynote address will be followed by a panel discussion on the "An Alberta Approach to Early Childhood Development". Panelists include representatives from Alberta Human Services, the Muttart Foundation, the Alberta Centre for Child, Family and Community Research and others.
Participants are invited to stay for lunch and engage in a conversation with others in the Early Childhood Development field regarding the current research on brain development. The afternoon will consist of a workshop of the "Parent Cafe Conversations", a resource for hosting community conversations designed to build awareness and inspire capacity building in support of child development and learning.
