The Metamorphosis: Based On the Short Story By Franz Kafka
"One morning, when Gregor Samsa woke from troubled dreams, he found himself transformed in his bed into a horrible vermin." And so begins an iconic story that is just as intriguing as it is heartbreaking and enthralling as it is painful. THE METAMORPHOSIS: BASED ON THE SHORT STORY BY FRANZ KAFKA uses mixed media, including shadow puppets, to interpret Kafka's memorable story of transformation and pain, opening a discussion of life's Sisyphusian nature. Using a script written by Wilder Nutting-Heath with excerpts by Steve Ross and the ensemble cast, this re-envisioned Metamorphosis is sure to make you question your own identity.
