Burlesque performer, Annie Cherry from Kansas City poses and performs for Dr.Sketchy's Anti-Art School on May 16th!
Drinking, drawing, dames! Whether you're a professional artist, or occasional doodler we have a spot for you at Dr.Sketchy's Anti-Art School!
What makes these sessions unique and so much fun?
* Performing artists are the models, providing a chance to sketch interesting characters in costume! You also get to see them perform!
* Laid back environment with your friends and some booze!
* Everyone is welcome. We provide basic materials for people that just want to check out the event and see what it's all about, or just want to see the performance and maybe doodle a bit.
* We have a wonderful venue right in the heart of the Plaza District at the Magic Tree located in Velvet Monkey Salon. Make us your first stop of the night and walk to have a meal or drinks, or go shopping before hand at one of the many fine establishments on the block!
18+ to attend 21+ to drink!

About Annie Cherry:
Annie Cherry is a visual and performing artist, specializing in atmospheric immersive theatrical experiences and, seemingly, time travel. She is a nationally known burlesque performer, a R-rated clown, a Mistress of Ceremonies for hire, a comedy writer, and an ordained ceremonial officiant. Ms. Cherry performs, teaches, produces, and creates, when she's not cuddling all of her cats.

From illegal flashmobs to the Museum of Modern Art, Dr. Sketchy's has brought artists a rule-breaking cocktail of dames, drinking and drawing. Dr. Sketchy's branches draw in over a hundred cities around the globe, from Akron to Zagreb. Whether you're an artstar or a scribbling newbie, Dr. Sketchy's is the perfect place to get your fill of life-drawing!
Dr. Sketchy's Oklahoma City is run by Adèle Wolf and is held at Velvet Monkey Salon in the Plaza District. Tickets are $10 in advance/$15 at the door and $5 for college students with valid ID at the door.
