Fire Ball Masquerade III: Hot Air

The days are short and the nights are long, but we're ready to take advantage of the extra dark by filling it with fire and spectacle! Madison's premiere winter masquerade party is back for its third annual installment, with FIRE BALL III: HOT AIR - coming to the High Noon Saloon on Saturday, January 29.

Brought to you by Dane101.com and featuring some of the finest burlesque, belly dance, vaudeville, queer, and fire performance artists from the area, the Fire Ball has proved itself as the hottest event of the cold season.

This year we're more than thrilled to welcome back Chicago's Miss Tamale as our emcee (she will also perform), as well as Madison-based belly dancers, Ashar Dance Company. Also helping us put on the show will be Foxy Veronica's Peach Pies fantastical caburlesque troupe, the fabulously sexy Sable Sin Cyr, and queer-tastic performance artist Shane O'Neill.

We are especially excited to welcome the aerial performance of Cycropia, who will dazzle and amaze as they dance down from the ceiling. From Milwaukee we are pleased to announce members of the Dead Man's Carnival - a vaudeville and burlesque outfit - who will be making the journey to entertain our audience. The night will be capped off by a dance party with DJ Chen Cheng!

As always, attendees are encouraged to dress to impress - whether that means an old prom dress, steampunk finery, fetish gear, cosplay duds, or whatever makes you feel fanciest. We'll have a professional photographer on hand to take your portrait, too (if interested), free of charge!

Come one, come all to the third-annual Fire Ball and melt away the winter blues with a phantasmagoric evening of spectacle and dancing!
