Durham Walking Tour **Every Saturday**
Home to Duke University, the Durham Performing Arts Center, renovated tobacco warehouses and the Durham Bulls, this town is about cutting edge culture and fantastic food. Let us show you a vibrant city in the midst of its revitalization and introduce you to the restaurants, shops and people that are making Durham one of the nation's cultural hotspots. From crostini topped with local produce and house-smoked meats to gourmet popsicles to renowned pimento cheese to organic wine and local beer, you will discover all of Durham's flavors.
Meeting Time/Place: Meet in front of The Pinhook, 117 W Main Street, at 1:15pm. Parking is available in the Corcoran Street Garage at 101 East Corcoran Street, http://www.durhamnc.gov/departments/transportation/parking.cfm. This garage is a five minute walk from the starting point, or ten minutes from the ending point. Parking is also available in the American Tobacco Warehouse decks, http://www.americantobaccohistoricdistrict.com/directory.html. This garage is a ten minute walk from the starting point, but very near the ending point.

Note: Tour runs rain or shine. Please dress appropriately for the weather. Wear comfortable shoes; walking distance is approximately 3 miles. Tour runs 3 hours.
Please bring a government-issued ID if you plan on participating in beer and wine tastings.
Register in advance. If you are trying to register for a tour the morning of, please call 919 237-2254 to check availability. Sorry, no exchanges or refunds. If we have to cancel the tour due to extreme weather, we will refund your money.
