Theatre Black Dog presents Romulus Linney's adaptation of A Christmas Carol
Theatre Black Dog's performance of Romulus Linney's adaptation of Charles Dickens' timeless story,A Christmas Carol, is being performed at Reach Eastside Performing Arts in Preston. This promises to be uniquely memorable production. A first time collaboration between Reach and Theatre Black Dog, the play is directed by Susan Bradford, featuring Issaquah Village Theatre veteran, Richard Payne, as the cantankerous Ebenezer Scrooge. A talented cast plays multiple roles: Betsy Brocco of Snoqualmie, Cristie Coffing, Greg and Ike Balmer of Snoqualmie, Tamara, Kristoffer, Grethe,and Bjarne Steensgaard and Kenna Boyer of Snoqualmie. Janet Payne of Issaquah, Bob Hise and Janet MacIntosh of Fall City, Anna Boranian of Snoqualmie and Emmet Michie of Seattle.
Theatre Black Dog has performed in diverse venues through out the East Side and Seattle; including, Freehold Theatre, Theatre Balagan, and Isadora's of Snoqualmie. Theatre Black
Dog's last production was Harold Pinter's dark comedy,The Birthday Party, at Freehold Theatre.
The company's director, Susan Bradford, likes to research deeply the author's intention and background; how the play reflects him under the surface of the story.
Romulus Linney's adaptation sheds new light on an age old tale. Be prepared for suprises and remember..this is a Ghost Story.
