We're all about the birds! Join us in celebration of naturalist and painter John James Audubon, namesake of our organization. Every year we gather on his birthday to celebrate the anniversary of the opening of the Seward Park Audubon Center in Seattle, Washington. This year, we're taking it outside with birding by kayak or by land!
Go on a guided hike through the old growth forest at Seward Park to look for spring migrants. Or hop in one of our kayaks and paddle through beautiful Andrew's Bay and around the Bailey Peninsula. You might see Great Blue Herons, eagles diving for fish, and you will certainly see lots of ducks, coots, and other waterbirds.
After your adventure, enjoy a buffet brunch, complete with mimosas!
You'll get to meet some of the youth we work with through school and teen leadership programs and have the opportunity to support our conservation and education work at Seward Park and throughout the state.
