April 14, 1865 - John Wilkes Booth fires a single shot Derringer into history. DON'T DIE IN THE DARK, sheds light on the personal and patriotic motivations behind one of America's most shocking acts of terror, the assassination of Abraham Lincoln, and the man on the wrong side of history. This production explores Booth's surrendering fame for infamy, trading family for country, and his attempt to balance stage and reality.
This is the latest collaboration between Joe Brack and Matty Griffiths, following a string of hit productions. They both feel this may prove to be the most important work they have done together to date. Performer Bradley Foster Smith rounds out the creative team and helps to nuance the story
Come experience this unique piece of theatre, in an intimate setting, at this exact moment in history!
