City Cantábile Choir Presents:
Concert for the Tiger and the Deep Blue Sea an original cantata by environmental activist and Seattle composer -Frederick N West scored for woodwind quintet, string quintet and chorus
Also featuring the Brazilian singer and co-director of Show Brazil, Eduardo Mendonça, who has composed a new work about the sacred waters. Eduardo is a Griot --descended from generations of singers in the Afro-Brazilian tradition which has captured the imagination of the world!
Also featuring Kent Stevenson- a treasure of Gospel music- composer, director and insanely talented pianist bringing his musical response to global warming to the stage
Joined by singers from St. Therese Parish, Jubilation and Shades of Praise choirs and Phinney Ridge Lutheran Gospel choir.
