Hands on Activities K--8th Graders and Parents 10a-12p Good bugs, Bad Bugs | Learn about worms and composting | Identify plant parts. Plus, take home a fun craft. Jeannine Rychlik, Washington County Master Gardener Start a Sunflower | Learn how to build a mini--green house out of recycled household items. Jim Serrill, Hilltop Community Garden at Tualatin United Methodist Church Make a seed tape to take home and plant. Marilyn Reiher, WashingtonYamhill Pomona Junior Grange Learn how students work with their minds and hands to address challenges of the Pacific NW growing season, healthy soil, and plant irrigation.
