PRESENTATION:
Project Data Which Data to Capture and how to use it to Control Cost and Schedule
Michael Pink will present on how to use construction project data to effectively manage cost and schedule on commercial construction projects. He will discuss which data is best to assess performance, where it can be found and how it should be stored and organized. Finally, Mr. Pink will discuss the technological shift in construction and how the utilization of data management technology can increase profits.
PRESENTER: Michael A. Pink, PSP, CCE
Michael Pink possesses nearly 15 years of direct experience in the construction industry providing Program Management, Risk Advisory and Dispute Resolution Services. Michael's most notable experience is in data analysis, particularly as it relates to analyzing cost overruns, inefficiencies, disruption, and impacts to schedule. In addition to performing consulting services, Mr. Pink has developed cloud based software technology that is designed to capture and store project data that is utilized to highlight and pinpoint issues related to delay, disruption, inefficiencies and budget variances.
Mr. Pink received his BS in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Tech and his MBA from The Stern School of Business at New York University. He has spent most of his career working as a consultant in the "Big Four" consulting environment working closely with owners, contractors, attorneys, and lenders on commercial construction projects. Currently, Mr. Pink is the Founder and CEO of Construx Solutions LLC, a Construction Advisory Services and Technology Solutions firm that was started in January 2012.

COST:
The member price for this event is $28.00 if you register before 12:00 Noon on the Monday immediately preceding the meeting; late registration is $33.00. Non-members will be charged $36.00 before 12:00 Noon on the Monday immediately preceding the meeting, and $41.00 thereafter.

Please note that registration will be closed Monday April 6th at 8:00 pm.
A very limited of first come first served meals will be available at the door.
MENU:
You may order Chicken Saltimbocca, Curry Roasted Prawns with Mango Chutney or Vegetarian (requires one week advance notice) dinner. If you have specific dietary restrictions please contact us at aaceseattle@gmail.com so that we can accommodate you. The AACE Seattle Section will be rotating menu selections this program year; we are interested in obtaining your feedback!

The AACE Seattle Section must pay for all meals that are ordered. If you RSVP that you will attend, you are responsible for the bill of your meal. AACE Seattle Section meets the 2nd Thursday of each month from September through May (excluding December). Each meeting with a technical presentation qualifies for .25 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) towards your CCP/CEP/CFCC/DRMP/EVP/PSP recertification requirements.
