UC Master Gardeners of Monterey Bay present a series of classes on all things gardening. Choose from 6 classes in each of three sections - 18 classes to choose from! Complementary welcome treats, lunch options, plant sale, and more.
Featuring "Microclimates in your Garden" with Cabrillo College's Meteorology Department Chair Dierdre Scholar, "The Permaculture Response to Drought" with Ken Foster, and "Pruning Flowering Shrubs, Tree and Vines" with our own Peter Quintanilla. Also this year, a new propagation class,"Propagation via Division and Transplants", with Nicky Hughes.
Registration begins at 8:00am with coffee and refreshments followed be a general assembly at 9:00am. Session one classes begin at 9:30am; Session 2 classes at 11:15am; Session 3 classes at 2:00pm. Be sure to choose one class from each Session!
Lunch will be 1 hour, with our local Santa Cruz, Cruz N' Gourmet food truck option or bring your own. Outdoor dining at the "top of the hill" plus a plant sale from the Cabrillo Horticulture Department.
**IMPORTANT**
- For each General, Student or Senior ticket purchased, choose one class from each section (1.x, 2.x, 3.x).
- Limited income discounts can be applied for by emailing: bootcamp@mbmgs.org
- Refunds will be available via Brown Paper Tickets within 12 hours of your registration. Sorry, no other refunds are offered.
- Student (16+) and Senior (65+) discounts will be verified at will call check-in. Please bring identification with you.
You will receive an email with additional event information prior to the Boot Camp.
