East Austin Urban Farm Tour 2015
Enjoy an afternoon of eating, drinking, and touring the fields at four of East Austin's urban farms. At each location, Austin's top chefs provide tastes of their creations using the freshest farm ingredients while local brewers, wine merchants, and mixologists offer sips of their crafted beverages. Get to know the farmers behind the food and see the fields where your favorite local produce is grown.
When purchasing your ticket, please choose the farm at which you would like to start your tour. All four farms are included on the tour no matter where you choose to start. If your farm of choice is 'sold out' as a starting point for the tour, please choose one of the other farms to begin your tour and pick up your wrist band. You may then proceed to any of the other farms on the tour at any time you would like.
The East Austin Urban Farm Tour is a rain or shine event. Our farmers are out in their fields every day regardless of the weather, and EAUFT is no exception! The chefs and drink purveyors will be under cover.
All proceeds from the East Austin Urban Farm Tour will benefit the Farm and Ranch Freedom Alliance (FARFA). Farm and Ranch Freedom Alliance is a national organization that supports independent family farmers and protects a healthy and productive food supply for American consumers. FARFA promotes common sense policies for local, diversified agricultural systems.
