Join us for a special preview of Angel Harper's film Keeping Faith with Morrie. Stay with us for a discussion of the film and the history and politics of blacks in animation with Dr. Charles Johnson, Angel Harper, and animators Stan Shaw and Lin Lucas.
The story of Morrie Turner, the pioneering African American cartoonist whose newspaper comic strip and television show reached millions of Americans with a powerful message of tolerance from the Civil Rights era that still resonates in an increasingly diverse society today.
