Event
StoryCorps - Community Partnership Meeting
Hosted by KPCC/Southern California Public Radio.
StoryCorps Griot is an initiative to record the voices and life
experiences of African Americans. Sharing these stories of
endurance, resilience, achievement, and hope preserves our
history in the true spirit of who we really are.
We believe there is room for every voice in history.
The stories of African Americans in Los Angeles are essential to
our archive, and your organization can help us collect and
preserve these stories for future generations to hear. It will also
help StoryCorps Griot continue to collect and share the voices of
African Americans from all walks of life and all parts of our nation –
voices not traditionally represented in mainstream media.
Learn how you can partner with StoryCorps Griot by joining us at
our next community partnership meeting.
