Thirst Fursday Beer School - April 2 - Hops w/ Lagunitas
Join us for another of our First Thursday #BeerSchool events on Thurs, April 2 as we welcome the Lagunitas Brewing Co crew and a whole bunch of hops. $25 includes 5 beer samples, heavy snacks, and a nice tip for our servers.
Dan from Lagunitas Chicago TapRoom will be here with several varieties of everyone's favorite sticky nuggets (HOPS, and just hops I tell you!) and a few extra special beers so we can taste how different hops work in different recipes.
Rumor has it that a Volcano vaporizer may make and appearance so we can recreate the #HopVapin experience from Lagunitas' Couch Trippin series. (see video links below).
And depending on the weather, we may be able to pick some hop rhizomes (root stock) off our own homegrown plants and give them away to anyone who'd like to plant/grow their own.
