Max & Eri Present: "KinkLab"
Many of you have attended conferences where someone speaks at you for hours.
This is NOT that. Instead, we are inviting kinksters (and kink-curious folks!) to gather and create your own knowledge sharing.
This is a special event combining a mini-workshop led by Max and an afternoon of kinky unconferencing (a.k.a. "open space technologies") led by Eri Kardos.
What is the Schedule for this Event?
At 9am we'll gather in Max's dungeon for the Opening Circle.
From 9:30am - 11:30am Max will share some of his personal knowledge on a topic that the class votes for beforehand. Possible workshop topics include Hot Negotiation, How to Push, Making D/S Work, Hot Rope, Intro to Kink/BDSM, and Leather Culture. Your vote will shape how the morning looks.
From 11:30am - 12:15pm we will provide a catered lunch and a chance to chat and build community.
At 12:15pm we'll reconvene and Eri will explain the concept of Open Space Technologies/Unconferences and how the afternoon will work.
From 12:30pm - 5:30pm we will move into our unconference sessions. There will be 6 breakout session areas and 3 sessions blocks - thus there will be around 18 unique sessions offered in 1 afternoon!
At 5:30 we'll do our Closing Circle. This wraps up our time together and is a crucial part of the experience.
The event ends at 6:00 pm
Choose-Your-Own-Adventure
This day together is a chance to create your own experience, share your own learning, and choose your own adventure. Along the way you have the opportunity to connect with others and ask tough questions or share something you are passionate about in a safe space.

A handout will be provided to help you find more great kink resources around Seattle.
Please bring pen and paper for notes, and a cushion, folding chair or small pillow to sit on.
This workshop assumes no previous experience, and is appropriate for all genders and orientations. You can bring a partner or a group of friends, but coming alone is completely comfortable and appropriate.

Max has been active in Seattle's kink community since 1992 and has been teaching bondage, BDSM, and polyamory workshops since 1999.
While he is proficient with a wide range of BDSM skills, Max especially enjoys the intimacy of rope bondage and the intensity of the singletail. Max projects a gentle, dominant energy, and all of his relationships - and most of his scenes - include a substantial d/s component.
Max's love of teaching shines through his workshops, and his love for people informs his personal encounters.

Eri Kardos is an international relationship coach, sex-positive educator, and community builder based out of Seattle.
She specializes in empowering people to choose their own adventure in life, love, and relationships.
Well established in the sex-positive community, Eri provides leadership for both "Suspended Animation" (rope bondage crew) and "Relationship Anarchy" (ethical non-monogamy group). In addition, she organizes and facilitates open space conferences for alternative lifestyle groups.
She teaches workshops on a wide variety of topics including Poly 101, Relationship Agreements, Communication and Consent, as well as Kink/BDSM 101, Kink/BDSM 201, Bottoming & Switching Skills, and Rope Bondage.
