Founded by the McWilliams family in 2002, Arista is a young winery with a bright future. While their goal from the beginning was to create the most elegant expression of Russian River Valley Chardonnay and Pinot Noir that they could, they took their wines to another level with the 2013 vintage. They introduced a new winemaker, Matt Courtney, formerly of Marcassin, and really started to hone in on their style fresh, refined, and harmonious. They believe that a great wine is made in the vineyard and are committed to sustainable farming practices. In the winery it's all about gentle handling and minimal intervention. With time, they believe their wines will be recognized as some of the very best in the Russian River Valley. And we agree! Please join us as we welcome Mark McWilliams and Matt Courtney to share their beautiful 2013 vintage wines with us, paired with a special menu crafted by chefs Mark Sullivan and John Madriaga.
