Back in the Day
This book release party for Jason Schmidt's "A List of Things That Didn't Kill Me" is also a benefit show, and a cabaret with performances centered around the theme of growing up weird. Some stories are about kids growing up on the fringes of society, others about being a weird kid in the ultra-normal heartland. There will be music, readings, poetry, joy, tears, and a cash bar. There will also be a Q&A with Jason Schmidt, and a book signing. All proceeds from ticket sales go to benefit the Frank W. Ross Memorial Scholarship at Pride Foundation.
