Boy Scout Troop 65 is hosting a professional magic show, open to the community, on Wed. April 1, 2015 at 7:00 PM as part of it's efforts to raise money for a Troop High Adventure Trip in August. The performance will be held at the Veterans Auditorium at Coventry High School located at 78 Ripley Hill Road in Coventry, CT.
The show will feature popular Coventry Teacher Jeff Spivey on stage, putting his life on the line, and will be cut-in-half as a way to generate interest in the fundraising program. The 80-minute magic show, "Magic&Beyond" presented by professional illusionist David Garrity, will feature mind-blowing illusions, amazing magic, audience participation, comedy and more! Garrity's show has been seen around the world at theaters, resorts, casinos and at Six Flags New England in Springfield, MA for over 20 years. Highlight videos, tour dates and more information about Garrity's show can be found at www.MagicalArtist.com
David explains, "The biggest moment of the evening will be when Coventry Teacher Jeff Spivey risks his life and will be cut-in-half! People are going to be talking about this for a long time!"
"This is really a great way for people to help support their local community while enjoying themselves with their families for an evening of fun," he says.
David Garrity's "Magic&Beyond" performance will be presented on Wed. April 1, 2015 at 7:00 PM in the Veterans Auditorium at Coventry High School located at 78 Ripley Hill Road. Tickets are $10.00 each for adults and $8.00 each for children and will be available the evening of the program, seating capacity permitting.
