Title 24 Code and How It Impacts the Design of Big Openings for Indoor/Outdoor Living
Attendees will be provided an overview of Title 24 energy code requirements for fenestration products including energy efficient terminology and product certification. A review of the prescriptive and performance path options for Title 24 will be reviewed with a focus on how to use big glass openings used for indoor/outdoor living.
Learning Objectives - Attendees will:
1.Overview of Title 24 requirements for fenestration products.
2.Review of prescriptive vs. performance path for Title 24 compliance.
3.To be able to identify where changes have been made in the new title 24 code as applied to exterior door products.
4.To be able to identify the new mandatory requirements for exterior doors.
