The Honorable Bill Bogaard, who made history as Pasadena's first directly elected Mayor in 1999, and whose dedicated public service and respected leadership in this City span nearly four decades, will be recognized as the 2015 Contemporary History Maker honoree by Pasadena Museum of History. The prestigious award will be presented at Gala dinner at the landmark Langham Huntington Hotel on Friday, September 25, 2015. Join us at 6:30 pm for cocktails and 7:30 pm for fine dining and the program.
A Contemporary History Maker is defined as an individual whose civic passion, innovative design, or charitable interests continue to shape Pasadena's unique and rich heritage. Pasadena Museum of History honors new History Makers annually at the Contemporary History Makers Gala. Proceeds from the Gala benefit the Museum's educational programs.
