JOURDAN MYERS with special guests ARYK CROWDER and JESSICA MANNING
Minneapolis singer/songwriter JOURDAN MYERS released her sophomore album, "Ruin Me With Love," in September 2014. The collection of songs centers around the universal theme of human longing, and her live-show compels listeners to experience this intense depth of emotion captured in her performance both lyrically and melodically. "Good music has the ability to cross musical boundaries. Great music doesn't even acknowledge that the boundaries exist in the first place. By that definition, 'Ruin Me With Love' is a great album as it flits between avant-garde pop, contemporary folk, soul and a scattergun blast of other genres. Through its 12 tracks it manages to mix an alternative, arty feel with enough commerciality to make it widely accessible to pop fans, music geeks and hipsters all at the same time, never bowing down to one over the other and creating memorable music along the way." ARYK CROWDER is an R&B/soul sensation out of Chicago whose acoustic presence showcases his expert vocals and masterful guitar work. Crowder seeks to generate multi-dimensional art through his music, and recently released Volume I of his two-part EP series, 2x4. Volume II is expected to be released Spring 2015.
JESSICA MANNING is a soulful singer with a compelling emotional presence while performing. Raised in Stockholm, Sweden with a soul-singing father (Bob Manning & The Soul Enterprise), she developed a unique sound with hints of the soul and blues that she was raised on. Manning recorded her self-titled EP in Los Angeles and is now working on a second record with local producer Bobby Z.
