Salud! Mexican Cooking Class Just for Kids!
Get a taste of life in ancient Mexico through LACMA's collection of Latin American art. Listen to myths related to foods we love - like chocolate, vanilla and corn - then head to the ArtBites pop-up kitchen, a 3-minute drive from the museum, to cook a meal inspired by our gallery conversation and to enjoy a group lunch.
Menu may include: Pineapple Agua Fresca Hand-pressed Corn Tortillas Esquites (Grilled Corn with Cream, Cheese and Lime) Guacamole Chocolate Avocado Cupcakes
Ages 7 to 12. Class is limited to 6 children and one accompanying adult per child. No drop off.
Please note that though this class meets at LACMA is it not LACMA organized.
