Event
7th Annual Wild & Scenic Film Festival Hosted by Summit Land Conservancy
In order to track advance ticket sales, we closed our early online ticket sales the day of the event. However, tickets are still available at the door beginning at 6:30 p.m.
SYRCL's Wild & Scenic Film Festival is a call to action! The films illustrate not only the challenges facing our planet but the work communities are doing to protect the environment and the places we love. The stories give us a sense of place and what it means to be responsible stewards of the earth.
Summit Land Conservancy has selected 12 environmental and adventure films ranging from 1-29 minutes in length. From an inspirational adventure of adaptive heli-skiing in Alaska to a love story inspired by the beauty of Grand Teton National Park; from a profile on a 14-year-old boy pushing the boundaries of rock climbing to an account of a 92-year-old citizen scientist helping to reverse declining bluebird populations in Idaho; from a tale about the joys of living simply to a light-hearted look at Earth's virtual relationship with humans on social media, these 12 films will inspire, educate, and maybe even challenge viewers.
All proceeds will benefit the Summit Land Conservancy. Our top sponsor is the Intermountain Park City Medical Center, and we are grateful to them for making this event possible.
Arrive early to sign up to win fabulous door prizes; doors open at 6:00 p.m. Tickets available online or at the door: $10 in advance online and $15 the day of the event, at the door only.
We are looking for open space enthusiasts to volunteer and help with festival operations BOTH evenings. Visit our event page on our website to get the link to sign up to volunteer. We thank you in advance for assisting us with this successful event!
