Rhizomatic-Modern Dance Connections
Modern Dance Event featuring performances by City Modern Ensemble of the Roanoke Ballet Theatre, d a n a h b e l l a DanceWorks of Radford University, Hollins Alumna and finally Progeny Dance Company of Washington and Lee University. These outstanding modern dance companies will provide an evening of artistic entertainment with something for everyone. The performance takes place in the black box theatre of the Taubman Museum which has a free Art By Night Event featuring the music of Amy Speace with Anthony Da Costa beginning at 5 PM so arrive early to tour the museum! The downtown location makes this a wonderful date night opportunity with so many wonderful restaurants withn walking distance.
