Previously Secret Information 12/19
Good comedians have the ability to reduce a 30-minute experience to a 30 second joke. Joe Klocek, one of San Francisco's finest, wants to reverse that process. His Idea? To tell the story behind the punch lines. Solo performers, storytellers and comics join Joe on stage each month with stories tragic, life altering and of course, very funny.
DHAYA LAKSHMINARAYANAN
"Desperate Vegetarians from Roswell, Georgia"
Dhaya's parents left the Southern part of India (Tamil Nadu) and made their way to the Southern part of the United States (Georgia). Her entire family maintained their vegetarian beliefs in a state littered with Baptist churches, "Chick-fil-A" and "Shoney's Big Boy". Their obsession with finding delicious vegetarian food led them to Atlanta's "Chinatown", barely a strip mall with a few Panda Express restaurants and a Radio Shack (clearly not Chinese). Then, they found a perfect vegetarian buffet with one giant catch.

MICHAEL KAYE
"Truth, Justice and a lot of Bullshit"
The first thing Michael Kaye discovered when his family immigrated to America was television. This glowing window into a world where everything was perfect and quickly resolved proved to be the single most influential lens by which he learned to define happiness. When his family was torn apart by a horrendous divorce, a feeling of emptiness that had been growing ever since they left Africa engulfed him. He decided that this abyss could be filled if he could just meet the magical people on TV. If he could spend time with them, their stardust might fix whatever was missing. So, when he was a senior at U.C. Berkeley, he hatched a plan: he created a series of awards to give to celebrities so he could meet them.
JOE KLOCEK
"Christmas Time Stunt Doubles"
Driving around the midwest, you will notice baby Jesus manger scenes everywhere. You will also notice that over the years, some of the figures have gone missing. You can see the two wise men and Frosty the snow man. Baby Jesus might be replaced with an elf and Joseph, Mary's dutiful husband, might be replaced with a plug-in light-up Santa Clause. One year, we decided to get everyone home to their proper place. There was some drinking involved, a police officer, a bet and a snow ball fight that ended with no charges filed. It's the most beautiful Christmas time story since Saw.
LESLIE BEAM
"Fish Story"
Leslie really appreciates the convenience of renting her scuba gear from the island scuba shops since she only dives once every year or two. Luckily she's a natural and her diving skills never get rusty. Too bad she feels sea sick. Maybe today's not the best day for a dive.
