"In the Mood 2010

It was a time when the world was at war and Peace on Earth was in danger of disappearing forever. As the world fought for its survival, small groups of dedicated entertainers would bring the music and sounds of home to the troops fighting to preserve our way of life. "In The Mood" is Sky Performing Arts' re-creation of a USO-style show as might have been presented to our troops near the close of WWII. This year's version is set in the Pacific, where the Sky Notes Orchestra, a seventeen-piece big band under the direction of Bruce Gallagher, along with seven tremendously talented singers bring you the swinging sounds of Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller, Duke Ellington, and the Andrews Sisters. The show is written and directed by Terry Simon and features the vocal and comedic talents of Greg Norgaard, L. Sam Samano, Robin Hilt, Ellen Powell, Rick Wright, and Brianna Underhill.
